Recent years have seen legislators approve pay raises of nearly 29%, while millions of taxpayer dollars are given by the State into political campaigns and self-promotional ads. Public funds that should serve communities are redirected to pet projects favored by donors, leaving essential services underfunded and public trust eroded.
This ends now. Armed with knowledge, we will demand a government that respects its obligations to the people, not just special interests. We are the employers of these public officials, and it’s time they answer to us. No more unchecked spending.
No more misallocated resources. No more deception. It’s time to get rid of the waste in our budget and our elected officials. If they do not represent us – they are fired!
