Senate Bill S915
Senate Bill S915 really took me by surprise. It’s unacceptable to think in today’s day and age and with New York State having more than 175,000 deaf people, that this would not have already been initiated.
But better late than never. – Senate Bill S915 relates to requiring sign language interpreters during live broadcasts, press conferences, and during a declared state of emergency. Yep, that’s right – there have been no mandated requirements until now.
